PD Pricing Setup - Price Records overview
Use this page to create a customer price record or to access the detail for existing records.
On this page you can perform these actions:
- Create a new pricing record.
- Specify advanced search criteria to search for pricing records.
- Drill down to the detail of a pricing record to view or edit the information.
A pricing record can be created for a warehouse, division group, or region if you have selected these pricing record types in SA Administrator Options-Products-Pricing. Select Pricing by Warehouse, Pricing by Region, or Pricing by Division Group to create pricing records specific to those entities.
If you maintain a pricing group, use the Advanced search to find records set up for a warehouse, division group, or region. Pricing records set up by division group or region are noted in the Warehouse/Region/Division Group column with a DVG- or RGN- prefix in the division group or region name.
If the Use Sales Cost option in SA Administrator Options-Products-Pricing is selected, you can specify sales cost values on pricing records to base the product cost on your vendor contracts. The sales cost is used as the product cost if the pricing record is applied to a line item on a sales order. It can be a fixed amount or a percentage of the base or list price, or replacement or standard cost of the product. You can include sales cost values on these types of pricing records if the pricing record is based on cost, margin, rebated cost, or rebated margin:
- Customer/Product (Level 1)
- Customer/Product Price Type (Level 2)
- Customer Type/Product (Level 3)
- Customer Type/Product Price Type (Level 4)
