PD Price Books Report overview
Function acronym: PDRP
Use this report to print all prices for all products in your inventory. Discounts are not included on the report.
Price books are most commonly used to quote prices to customers and to enter Quote Orders. Each Product Setup record contains a sequence number that you can use to customize the order of the products on the report. You present the products on the report so it resembles the product catalogs that you distribute to customers.
You can also use the report to determine if price changes from your vendors were applied correctly to customer pricing records in PD Pricing Setup.
This report included prices, including promotional pricing, from these customer pricing records in PD Pricing Setup:
- Type 7 Product
- Type 8 Product Price Type
If a product qualifies for multiple records, this is the hierarchy that is used to determine which record is included on the report:
- Type 7, promotional
- Type 8, promotional
- Type 7
- Type 8
This report includes the records that are used in Sales Order Entry to determine price. If a customer pricing record does not exist, the base price, list price, or the cost that is selected is included on the report. For Type 8 records, all Product Warehouse Product Setup records that match the product price type are included on the report.
