OT Transaction Entry overview

Function acronym: OTET

Use this function to create, modify or inquire upon tracking documents used by the Overseas Trade module. Tracking document line items represent the products being shipped in a single container.

These line items are the actual PO line items entered in PO Transaction Entry. In OT Transaction Entry, select the purchase order line and associate it with a tracking document.

On this page you can perform these actions:

  • Click New to create a tracking document. The OT Transaction Entry Detail window is displayed, and the next available tracking number is selected automatically.
  • Use the search criteria to display a specific tracking document or groups of documents in the browse window. After you find the tracking document you are looking for, double-click the line in the browse window to view details.
  • Click Quick Tracking Process to perform Quick Tracking. Use Quick Tracking to specify a tracking document, or manually move a tracking document’s stage forward.
