Product Inquiry - Pricing overview
Use this page to view the customer’s pricing record information from PD Pricing Setup. Only Type 7 (Product) and Type 8 (Product Type) Price/Discounting types, which are not promotional, are displayed.
Type 7 (Product) records take precedence over Type 8 (Product Type) records. Therefore, if you have a valid Type 7 and Type 8 record for the same Product/Product Type, the Type 7 record displays.
If you have multiple Type 7 or Type 8 records, the one with the most current beginning date displays.
For record Types 7 or 8, the reference and whether prices are based on base price or cost display at the bottom of the window. A message displays when the record is based on quantity breaks. If the Price/Discounting record contains only quantity breaks and discount percents, no price level data is displayed.
For record Types 7 or 8 with a minimum quantity, specify a quantity equal to or greater than the minimum quantity to display pricing information.
The price, discount percent, and net appears for one unit. If the unit is each, the prices are per each, and so on. The amounts are not multiplied by the quantity entered.
If no Price/Discounting record is found, this message is displayed:
No Qualified Pricing Record Found. Using Base Price
If the product has been superseded, this message is displayed at the top of
the window: Product Superseded
The Product Status field displays information from the Status field in Product Warehouse Product Setup.
Special price/cost product
If the product you select is a special price/cost item, the price that displays defaults from Product Setup or Product Warehouse Product Setup.
