Product Administrator Warehouse Copy Report overview

Function acronym: ICAAX

Use this report to copy Product Warehouse Product Setup records from one warehouse to another.

If products are stored in more than one warehouse, set the products up in one warehouse. Then use this report to copy the product records to another warehouse. If required, modify the records with information that is relevant to the second warehouse.

You can copy products by product line if both the source and destination warehouse have an Authorized Replenishment Path (ARP) of Vendor in Product Line Setup-Order. If the source warehouse's ARP is the destination warehouse, the ARP type for the destination warehouse is cleared on the product warehouse record. Review the authorized replenishment paths of the source warehouse and the destination warehouse before you run this report.

All values in Product Warehouse Product Setup are copied with these exceptions:

  • ARP
  • Order Quantity
  • Last Stock Out
  • Prior Lead Time/Date
  • Committed
  • Received
  • WT Receive Requests
  • Usage Rate
  • Safety Allowance
  • Days/Times
  • Receipts
  • Net Available
  • Unavailable
  • Demand
  • Order Point/Minimum
  • Frozen Date
  • Stock Available
  • On Hand
  • Back Order
  • WT In Transit
  • Line Point/Maximum
  • Frozen Reason
  • Last Lead Time/Date
  • Reserved
  • On Order
  • WT Ship Requests

All values in Product Inquiry are copied with these exceptions:

  • Date of Last Invoice
  • Date of Last Price Change

If you copy by product lines, all values in Product Line Setup are copied except for the Last Review Date.

This table shows the exception messages that can be included on the report. It also shows the cause or corrective action that you can take to resolve the issue.

From Warehouse Not Found, No Records Copied
 The warehouse that you specified in the From Warehouse option does not have a Product Warehouse Description Setup record. Review the report parameters. 
To Warehouse Not Found, No Records Copied
 The warehouse that you specified in the To Warehouse option does not have a Product Warehouse Description Setup record. Review the report parameters. 
Vend ### Line ### Already Exists Not Copied
 The record was not duplicated because a record already exists in the destination warehouse. 
Vend ### Line ### Not Copied, Numeric Formats Invalid
 The record was not duplicated because the data from the source warehouse is invalid. Review the warehouse setup files. 
### Already Exists, Not Copied
 The record was not duplicated because the warehouse product record already exists in the destination warehouse. 
Product Line Not Found, ### Not Copied
When No is specified for the Copy Product Line Records option, the destination warehouse must have a Product Line Setup record. Set up the product line record in the destination warehouse, and then rerun the report. 
### Not Copied, Numeric Formats Invalid
 The record was not duplicated because product data in the source warehouse is invalid. Review the warehouse product record.
