GL Administrator Copy Budget Report overview

Use this report to copy a range of existing budgets to new revision numbers or new fiscal years with an increase or decrease in the budget period amounts.
The GL Administrator Copy Budget Report is useful if several accounts have similar budgets. Set up and copy the initial budget to the additional account codes. Make modifications to the additional account codes through GL Budget Account Setup.
If you try to copy a budget from a company with a 13-period fiscal year to a company with a 12-period fiscal year, an error message is displayed. Because the fiscal year periods are user defined, you cannot determine how to match the different periods to arrive at a reasonable budget.
The maximum percentage you can specify for the % Of Budgeted Amounts option is 999.99%. This can either be a positive or negative percentage. If you specify a percentage greater than 999.99%, records are processed, and an error message is displayed.
