Customer Transaction Activity Report overview

Customer > Reports > AR Reports > ARRA

Function acronym: ARRA

Use this report to view a detailed audit trail of all transactions posted to Accounts Receivable customers.

You can review the history of a customer, a particular transaction type, or one journal. Because you can print manual balance changes, you can also use this report to determine why a customer is out of balance.

Note:  To comply with the credit card industry's Payment Application-Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), credit card numbers are masked on all report output.

The Customer Transaction Activity Report balances all scheduled payment transactions to the customer's current balance. The current balance is the accumulation of Periods 1-5, service charges and future invoices balances minus miscellaneous credits and unapplied cash amounts.

Use the default options and ranges to check for out-of-balance situations. If you change these ranges, balance checking is not performed:

  • Journal number
  • Period
  • Invoice date
  • Invoice number

To perform balance checking, you must select A or B for these options:

  • Print Invoices (N)o,(A)ct,(I)nact,(B)oth
  • Print Svc Chgs (N)o,(A)ct,(I)nact,(B)oth
  • Print Misc Crs (N)o,(A)ct,(I)nact,(B)oth

If the Payment Reference value has been specified in Customer Cash Receipt Entry-Transaction, you can display the Payment Reference value in this report. The options, Print Checks? and Print References?, must be set to Yes.
