Use this page to set the parameters for processing back orders.

These functions are performed automatically in Sales Entry Processing Back Order Fill Report:

  • Fill outstanding back orders
  • Ship complete and tag and hold orders created through Sales Order Entry
  • Ship complete and tag and hold orders that are tied to incoming purchase orders or warehouse transfers

You can run the Sales Entry Processing Back Order Fill Report manually, or you can have the system automatically run the report after Purchase Receipt of Inventory Entry, Transfer Receipt of Inventory Entry, and KP Work Order Center Entry-Acceptance.

The Support Running Fill from Navigator option determines whether Sales Entry Processing Back Order Fill Report is generated automatically in receiving functions. The Back Orders options are used when Sales Entry Processing Back Order Fill Report is automatically performed from Purchase Receipt of Inventory Entry or Transfer Receipt of Inventory Entry. Because the report is performed automatically, you cannot select different options each time the report is performed. The report is automatically performed according to the options selected with this function. Select your options carefully before you perform Sales Entry Processing Back Order Fill Report for the first time.
