Running a Credit Card Status report

Follow the steps below to run a report that shows the status of active credit card transactions.

  1. Select Customer > Reports > AR Reports.
  2. Select Credit Card Status.
  3. Click New > One Time.
  4. Specify the report, printing, and scheduling information.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Specify one or more ranges:
    • A specific date or a date range. Required.
    • A warehouse range; or leave blank for all warehouses.
    • A division range; or leave blank for all divisions.
    • A merchant ID; or leave blank for all merchant IDs.
    • A credit card processor; or leave blank for all processors.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Specify these options (the first three options relate to failed transactions only):
    1. In Transaction Type, either accept the default (All), or specify a transaction type such as Auth, Fsal, Sale or Retn to limit the type of response returned.
    2. In Resubmit Failed Transactions, select No. If you select Yes, failed transactions are reset to be reprocessed during invoice processing. If you select No, this report is informational only.
    3. In Deactivate Forced Sales (Failed Only), normally select No. If you select Yes, and invoice processing timed out before the processor returned a response, all of the fsal transactions from that run will be listed on this report, even though the credit card processor processed them correctly. Before deactivating forced sales, check the processor transactions to verify they have actually settled.
    4. In Order #, specify one order number to run, or specify 0 (zero) to run the report for all orders.
    5. In Format: Status or Balancing, specify S for a status report on all submitted transactions. Specify B if you want the report to include totals for transactions that have been submitted.
    6. In Detail or Summary (Balance Only), select Detail for the report to print all information for submitted credit card transactions.
    7. In Sort By Warehouse, Division, Merchant ID or Processor, specify whether to sort the detail by warehouse, division, merchant ID, or processor.
    8. In Failed, Approved, Exclude Approve, or All, specify F to report on failed transactions only. Specify A for approved transactions. Specify E to report on all responses except approved. Specify X for all transactions submitted within the date range provided.
  9. Click Next.
  10. If you are creating a stored report, specify a job name or number.
  11. Click Save.
