Converting a single nonstock product to a stocked product
If you decide to carry a nonstock product as a regularly stocked product, you can move the nonstock into inventory in Product Adjust Non-stock/Direct Order Entry. The product must be an active nonstock with quantity available to sell.
Use these instructions to convert a single nonstock to a stocked product.

After all available quantities of a nonstock are converted to stocked inventory, the update process automatically closes the nonstock set. The status is changed to Inactive.

- Verify the Non Stock type and Active options are selected.
- Specify a warehouse and other search criteria and click .
- Select the product you want to convert and verify that it has available quantity to move into inventory.
- Click .
- Click to open a journal.
- In the Non Stock Inventory Defaults window, specify Stock in the Status field.
- Specify the Vendor and Product Line.
- Complete the remaining fields and click .
- Specify the quantity you want to move into inventory as a negative amount. Optionally, specify a bin location. Click .
- Click Product Setup and Product Warehouse Product Setup. to close the item. The product can now be maintained in
