Audit System
The Audit System is an audit tracking process that runs on your Distribution SX.e on-premises server. It scans the system and collects data on the records that you marked specifically for auditing. If a marked record is modified, the information is sent to an audit table. That audit table is what your audit trail inquiry queries against.
You must add the Audit System process to your server script. When you restart your servers, it runs in the background. By default, the Audit System checks the database once every 60 seconds, but you can change this by editing the script.
Implementing Audit System involves these processes:
- Setting audit flags
- Generating and installing dictionary and trigger changes
See the Infor Distribution SX.e Administration Guide.
You must have a security level of at least 2 for Audit System in SA Operator Setup-Function Security to use the auditing system in Distribution SX.e. Specify audit in the Name field. If your security setting for the respective choice is 1-No Access, you cannot access SA Administration Audit Processing Program Generation or SA Administration Audit System Inquiry.
