Price origin code

The price origin code denotes the price type and includes additional information to show you where this price originated from. Nonstock lines always have a price origin code of (O)verridden. Price level values from Customer Setup and Customer Ship To Setup, which are associated with PD Pricing Setup price types, are used when determining the price origin code.

Note:  The price origin code is updated when the pricing source on an order is created or changed in Sales Order Entry. To view the price origin code in Sales Order Entry, use the Personalize feature to add the Price Origin Code field to the user interface.

This table shows the price origin codes that are stored on a sales order line, and how they are determined.
