Options
- (C)ust, (L)kup Nm, (S)lsrep, Cred (M)gr Ord
-
Specify C to print the report in customer number order.
Specify L to print the report in lookup name order.
Specify S to print the report in outside sales rep order.
Specify M to print the report in credit manager order.
- Print Cust #, Lkup Nm, Cred Mgr by Div #
-
Select Yes to print the customers in groups according to their division number. The report prints in the order that you selected in the previous option, by division number.
Because sales reps already print for all division, select No if you specified sales rep order for the previous option.
- Print If Over The Credit Limit By XXXX
-
Specify a monetary amount to limit the number of customers to include on the report. Keep the default value of zero, to include all customers over their credit limit on the report.
The customer’s current balance (Periods 1 - 5 + Future Invoices + Service Charges - Miscellaneous Credits) is compared to their credit limit to determine the difference. The on order balance is not used in the calculation, but it does print on the report.
- Print Balances Starting At Period (1-5)
-
Use this option to limit the number of customers included on the report. If you accept the default of zero, customers without a balance and customers with balances in Periods 1 - 5 are included on the report.
Specify 1 to print all customers who have a balance in at least one of the five periods. All customers who have no period balances, but may have a service charge, miscellaneous credit, or unapplied cash balance, are excluded from the report, unless you are rolling service charges, miscellaneous credits, or unapplied cash into period balances, based on the option in the Special Transactions section in SA Administrator Option-Customers-Balances, during the Customer Entry Roll Balances Report.
To review only those customers with overdue balances, specify 2, 3, 4, or 5.
For example, if you specify 2, the customer must have a balance in Periods 2 - 5. If you specify 3, the customer must have a balance in Periods 3 - 5.
The balance that prints on the report represents Periods 1-5 + Future Invoices + Service Charges - Miscellaneous Credits - Unapplied Cash. The past due balance represents period balances that depend on the options you select in the Special Transactions section in SA Administrator Option-Customers-Balances.
- If you do not select any of the Special Transaction options, the past due balance is equal to Periods 2 - 5 minus Misc. Credits and Unapplied Cash plus Service Charges.
- If your select Age Service Charges, the past due balance is equal to Periods 2 - 5, minus Misc. Credits and Unapplied Cash.
- If you select Age Miscellaneous Credits, the past due balance is equal to Periods 2 - 5, plus Service Charges.
- If you select Age Service Charges and Age Miscellaneous Credits, the past due balance is equal to Periods 2 - 5.
If the past due amount is a negative amount after deducting Misc. Credits and Unapplied Cash or totaling period balances that are negative, a zero prints instead of a negative amount.
- Increase Next Review Date by XXX Days
-
If you use the Customer Credit Report as a formal review tool, you can increase the Next Revision Date field on each customer's Customer Setup record automatically by a specific number of days.
Specify the specific number of days and they are added to today's date to determine the new date on the Customer Setup. If you update the Last Revision Date field during this run, you should also increase the Next Revision Date field.
- Update Last Review Date During Run?
-
Select Yes to update the Last Revision Date field on Customer Setup records.
- Print Only Customers On Hold?
-
Select Yes to print only those customers on credit hold.
A customer may be considered on hold for these reasons:
- A hold period exists on the customer's Customer Setup record and the period balances from that period through Period 5 are greater than the miscellaneous credit and unapplied cash balances.
- The customer's total balance is greater than the credit limit.
- In Customer Setup-Credit, the Sales Order Status field is No; the Sales Order Status field is Hold Until and the hold or open date is greater than the report date; or the Sales Order Status field is Open Until and the hold or open date is less than the equal date of the report.
- Totals Only?
-
Select Yes to print only a total of the customer's balances, credit limit, over limit amount, past due amount, on order amount, and sales YTD for each division, and one grand total at the end.
