Five-High Sales (5-Hi)

Average Sales Quantity (ASQ)

Include New Order Point Calculation

Select this field to use the maximum amount entered in the Maximum Amount Difference field. This ensures that any increase to inventory values as a result of the ASQ adjustment does not exceed this limit. The maximum difference can also be set at the product level in Product Warehouse Product Setup - Ordering. If the maximum difference is exceeded, an exception is created during Product Administration Month End Processing. If an exception is created, the ASQ adjuster is not used to override the Product Administration Month End Processing calculated order point (raw order point) and line point (raw line point), nor will the order point or line point in Product Warehouse Product Setup be updated.

Clear this field if you do not want to use the maximum difference.

Include Transfers

Specify the maximum amount to allow when adjusting inventory values based on the ASQ order point calculation. If the inventory change is greater than this amount, the ASQ adjuster is not used, and an exception is created during Product Administration Month End Processing that can be viewed in the Product Exception Center.

Although this maximum limit ensures that inventory values do not increase beyond what your company deems acceptable, do monitor the frequency of these exceptions and change the maximum difference if necessary.

Minimum Hits

If the total sales hits during the standard usage months is equal to or greater than this number, and the ASQ option in Product Warehouse Product Setup is selected, the ASQ calculation is performed.
