Function acronym

Use the function acronym when you set up security access for the function in SA Operator Setup-Function Security. You can also specify the acronym in the Address field to access the function.

In the user interface, acronyms are displayed in these locations:

• Address field in the Application Menu bar

  When you specify a value in the Address field, the acronym is displayed with the function name in the results list. For example, if you specify pick tickets, oeepp - OE Entry Processing Pick Tickets is displayed in the results list.

• Reports page

  If you access the Reports page, the acronym and title of each report is displayed in the grid. You can access the Reports page by selecting a Reports category, such as OEE Reports in the Menu or oee-reports in the Address field.
