Month end processing Average Inventory Value calculation

When Product Administrator Month End Processing has not been run for several months, the system processes the product one month at a time to get it to the current month. At each month, the system calculates the average inventory value using the current on hand. This is equivalent to saying: we have $100 now and have not calculated for 2 years, so assume that $100 has been in inventory since the last merge.

The system averages $100 into the last month calculation and assumes every month after has a value of $100. If you do not want this kind of calculation, schedule Product Administration Average Inventory Daily Calc Report to run at the end of the month for warehouses or vendor, product line, product categories combinations or run Product Administration Average Inventory Daily Calc Report wide open sometime during the month. Then, if you do not run it monthly, the average inventory value is current.
