Changing quantities in a WM location

You can use WM Transaction Entry to increase, decrease, or move available quantities in a Warehouse Manager bin location. All adjustments that are made through this function immediately update WM Bin Location and Product Setup.

This function does not update Product Warehouse Product Setup. Limit use of this function to, for example, correct a discrepancy between Product Warehouse Product Setup and WM Bin Location and Product Setup. If you use this function for moving quantities, the product must be assigned to both bins before the move, or you receive a message.

We recommend that you not use this function for initial setup or for new inventory. Instead use WM Bin Location and Product Setup.

  1. Select Warehouse Manager > Entry > Transaction.
  2. Specify search criteria, and then select the product record in the grid.
  3. Depending on the Adjustment Type, perform one of these actions:
    • If you selected Increase or Decrease, specify the quantity.
    • If you selected Move to Other Bin, specify the bin location and the quantity to move.
    • If you selected Add To Bin, specify the product, bin location, and the quantity.
  4. Click Update.
