Default Action for Short Shipped Sections

If you select Auto Create Back Order, a back order is automatically created when needed when you ship a VA order in VA Shipping Entry.

If you select Always Prompt, you are prompted when a back order is needed. Then, you can short ship the section or create the back order. The option to create a back order is available when you select the Allow Section Back Order option in VA Shipping Entry.

If you select Do Not Allow, short-shipped VA orders will be prevented and you must increase the ship quantity for the short-shipped line to continue in VA Shipping Entry.

Previous Version Tolerance

Specify the acceptable tolerance for changes in kit value and whether the tolerance value is a currency amount or a percentage. When you change the VA product setup on an open VA order, the difference between the previous and new value is calculated. You are warned if the difference exceeds the tolerance specified here. Specify 0 (zero) if you do not want to set a tolerance threshold.

Price/Cost Used for External Labor Line Items

Specify which price/cost to use when creating line items for external processes. You can select Average Cost, Last Cost, Replacement Cost, Standard Cost, Base Price, or List Price as the default value.

Price/Cost Used for Internal labor Line Items

Specify which price/cost to use when creating line items for internal processes. You can select Average Cost, Last Cost, Replacement Cost, Standard Cost, Base Price, or List Price as the default value.

Price/Cost Used for Inventory

Specify which component price/cost to use to calculate the inventory cost on the VA Pricing Worksheet. You can selectAverage Cost, Last Cost, Replacement Cost, Standard Cost, Base Price, or List Price as the default value. The VA Pricing Worksheet uses the calculated inventory cost to calculate the total cost per unit.

Pricing Worksheet Calculation Default

Select Markupor Margin as the default price calculation for the VA Pricing Worksheet. This setting also affects these fields on the VA Tie/Arp Rollup window. The default value can be changed.

Indicate if your company's part numbers or the manufacturer's part numbers are used in the configurable components section of the VA Assembly order.

Shipping Stock Adjustment Control

This setting controls the Create Stock Adjustments option when you update in VA Entry Shipping Feedback.

  • If you select Default to Yes , the Create Stock Adjustmentsis selected but can be changed.
  • If you select Default to No, the Create Stock Adjustments is not selected but can be changed.
  • If you select Always Allow, the Create Stock Adjustments is selected and cannot be changed.
  • If you select Don't Allow, the Create Stock Adjustments is not selected and cannot be changed.
Type
This field works in conjunction with the Previous Version Tolerance field. Indicate whether the tolerance value is a currency amount or a percentage.
