Setting up the credit card processor

Use SA Credit Card Processor Setup to define the interface between the Distribution SX.e system and CenPOS.

  1. Select System Administrator > Setup > Credit Card Processor.
  2. Click New.
  3. In the Processor field, specify an ID number for CenPOS.
  4. Click Save.
  5. In the File Processing section, specify this information:
    Name
Specify a name. We recommend a descriptive name, such as CenPOS, or to identify more than one operation, base the name on the warehouse(s).
    Processor Type
    Specify CenPOS.
  6. In the Processor section, this information is used to call out to CenPOS. CenPOS provides you with the information to be specified in these fields. For example:
    Processor Host Site
    hub.cenpos.net
    Processor Host Port
    443
    Processor Partner ID
    CenPos
    Processor Vendor ID
12345678. This ID is the merchant ID assigned and provided by CenPOS. Contact your CenPOS representative.
    Processor User ID
SXe. This ID is assigned and provided by CenPOS. Contact your CenPOS representative.
    Processor User Password
The password is encrypted and displays as asterisks.
  7. In the Other section, specify 3 in the Purchase Level field.

With the integration, CenPOS determines what level should be sent based upon the card type and processor. We recommend that the payment processor be set to 3 to always send Level 3 data. CenPOS disregards data that cannot be used by the processor. And, if the card is a purchase card, and you don't send Level 3 data, the transaction could be downgraded.

  8. In the URL Settings area, specify this information:
    Send (Web)
To use CenPOS Adobe Flash version, specify: https://www3.cenpos.net/POSIntegration/inforIntegration/default.aspx
To use CenPOS HTML5 version, specify: https://www4.cenpos.net/POSIntegration/POSIntegration-HTML5/
Note: CenPOS has released an HTML5 version to replace the existing Flash version. Chrome, and other browsers, are phasing out support for Adobe's Flash plugin. If you use the Chrome browser with your CenPOS application, you must upgrade to CenPOS's HTML5 version.
  9. Click Save.

See the appropriate version of the Credit Card Integration Guide if you are using a version of Distribution SX.e earlier than 10.3.1.5.
