Automatic WT receiving during shipping

A warehouse transfer (WT) that is shipped in Transfer Shipping Feedback Entry is automatically received during the shipping process if these conditions are met:

The receiving warehouse is set up in Product Warehouse Description Setup as a fabrication warehouse
Auto-Receive Warehouse Transfers is selected on the warehouse record

Note: Auto-Receive Warehouse Transfers cannot be selected if the fabrication warehouse is a TWL-controlled warehouse. Otherwise, this error message is displayed: Cannot Auto WT Receive for Fabrication if a TWL Whse.

The automatic WT receiving during shipping process can be for TWL or non-TWL when transferring goods into the fabrication warehouse. It can also be used in regular warehouses, although the intent of this option is to automate the fabrication process.

You can select one or multiple purchase order, and the select Actions > Ship All; Auto Rcv WTs to automatically receive them, or use the Quick Ship functionality. This option can be used with Direct Order (DO) warehouse transfers and fabrication warehouse orders, based on the fabrication warehouse’s Product Warehouse Description Setup settings.

Note: If a WT DO contains a product that is serial- or lot-controlled in the receiving warehouse but not in the shipping warehouse, you must receive it in Transfer Receipt of Inventory Entry. If you attempt to auto-receive the DO WT in Transfer Shipping Feedback Entry, an error occurs.
