SA Connection Inquiry field descriptions

The fields are listed alphabetically.

Search

Company #

Specify the company number of the database connections you want to view.

Device

Specify the Progress designator, which is found in the _connect table, for the device that is used to access the system's executable code.

Operator

Specify the operator whose database connections you want to view.

User Group

Specify the User Group that is assigned to operators whose database connections you want to view. A User Group, which is set up in SA Table Code Value Setup, is assigned on operator records.

Note: This functionality is part of an approval process that helps to meet some of the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Type

Select one of these values to view that type of connection:

• All

  Select this option to view all of the database connection types. In WebUI versions of Distribution SX.e that support multi-tenant and multi-company login, you must select All to view connections with a zero company number.

• TWL

  Select this option to view database connections in Total Warehouse Logistics.

• WEBUI

  Select this option to view database connections in the web-based version of Distribution SX.e.

• Servers & Brokers

  Select this option to view auto server and database broker connections.

• Other Processes

  Select this option to view database connections that are initiated by Progress, but are not associated with a user logging in.
