Product Customer Reservation/Forecast Import/Export file format

The import/export file format must include an initial row or record of column headers, followed by a specific sequence of fields.

Both forecast and reservation files must include these fields in each row, in this order. You must provide a field value for column headings that are marked with an asterisk (*).

Column Heading or Field Description
Type The value can be either Reservation or Forecast.
RecordType If the Type column is Forecast, one of these values is required:
  • FC: Customer forecast
  • FS Customer shipto forecast
  • FG: Shipto group forecast
Customer # A customer number defined in Customer Setup.
ShipToGroup A shipto group defined in Customer Ship To Group Setup.
ShipTo A shipto number defined in Customer Ship To Setup.
Whse A warehouse defined in Product Warehouse Description Setup.
StartDate* The reservation or forecast start date. Use MM/DD/YY formatting.
ExpireDate* The reservation or forecast expiration date. Use MM/DD/YY formatting.
Product* A product defined in Product Setup and Product Warehouse Product Setup.
ProductType A product type to identify kit, tally, or fabricated products. A value exists in export only.
QtySold The quantity that is sold. A value exists in the export only. The column is required for both export and import.
For customer reservations:  
AllowPullQty Y or N. If blank, N is assumed.
Replenish Y or N. If blank, Y is assumed.
RequiredQty* The required quantity in the stocking unit of measure. Must be greater than zero.
TotalExpectedQty The total expected quantity in the stocking unit of measure. If blank, zero (0) is assumed.
For customer forecasts:  
ExpectedRunRate% The expected run rate percentage.
Forecast-1 to Forecast-12 Twelve columns, one for each month of forecast usage in the stocking unit of measure.
Actual-1 to Actual-12 Twelve columns, one for each month of actual usage in the stocking unit of measure.
User1 to User9 Nine columns, for Licensee use.
