Replenishing WM primary locations

Because primary locations are the primary pick locations, replenish these bins regularly. Run WM Entry Replenish Primary Bins Report and then WM Accept/Review Replenishment Entry to perform replenishment action on the primary bins with an In Service status. You can generate reports for bins that are currently negative or will be going negative due to the Product Warehouse Product Setup reserved quantities. If the product is not available to replenish the bin, the bin does not show on the report. If an insufficient quantity exists, only the available product data shows on the report.

Run WM Accept/Review Replenishment Entry to accept WM transaction records created by the WM Entry Replenish Primary Bins Report in the Report or Commit mode. WM transaction records created in WM Entry Replenish Primary Bins Report in the Perform mode are accepted automatically.

  1. Select Warehouse Manager > Reports > WM Reports > Entry Replenish Primary Bins.
  2. Specify the report ranges to limit the replenishment report to specific locations or bin types.
  3. Specify the report options.
You must specify C for the (R)eport Only, (C)ommit or (P)erform option to generate transactions for WM Accept/Review Replenishment Entry.
  4. Run the report.
  5. Select Warehouse Manager > WM Reports > WM Accept/Review Replenishment Entry.
  6. Conduct a search.
  7. In the grid, select the replenishment records, and then select Actions > Accept.
The value in the Quantity column changes to zero.
  8. Click Submit.

If you want to cancel, restore, or change the quantity of any of the replenishment records in the WM Accept/Review Replenishment Entry grid, expand the line. Select a record. Click Cancel to cancel the replenishment. The Quantity in the column changes to zero. Click Restore to restore the Quantity in the column to the replenishment quantity. If you must change the quantity—for example, to make a correction or to move a smaller quantity—use the Warehouse Manager Bin Allocation function to change the amount that you take from the bins.

    1. If you want to change the bin location, click in Select Bin Location.
    2. Specify the new bin location.
    3. The amount will default with the Quantity to Allocate. If necessary, change the 0.00 to a different quantity.

    6. Click Final Update.
