KP Work Order Inquiry field descriptions
This topic lists and describes the Advanced Search fields. Fields are
presented in alphabetical order.
- Back Order Filter
- Displays if Back Order Filter is selected in the Criteria field.
- Beginning Work Order #
- Specify a work order number as a starting point for selecting work orders.
- Created By
- Specify user initials to search for work orders created by that user through KP Work Order Center Entry or KP Entry Recommended Work Orders Report.
- Component Product
- Specify a component product to search for work orders for that kit component.
- Entered Date
- Specify a date as a starting point selecting work orders. The search results are limited to work orders created on or after the specified date.
- Kit Product
- You can specify two types of kit products in this field: a prebuilt kit parent product or a fabricated kit product. A prebuilt kit parent product has a Product Setup record with a Kit Type of Pre-Built. A fabricated kit product has a Product Setup record with a Kit Type of Build on Demand and the Allow Transferable Build on Demand Kits field set to Allow.
- Record Count
- Specify the maximum number of records to include in the search results. Limiting the record count expedites the inquiry process when a large number of records meet the search criteria.
- Saved Search
- If you have saved previous searches, select the search you want to use.
- Stage
- Select a stage to search for work orders in that stage. Select All to include work orders of all stages.
- Version #
- Specify a version number (0-999) to search for work orders with that product setup version number.
- Warehouse
- Specify a warehouse to search for work orders entered for that warehouse. You must specify a warehouse that has been defined in Product Warehouse Description Setup. When a kit product or component product is specified and a warehouse is specified, the combination is validated in Product Warehouse Product Setup. Leave this field blank to include work orders for all warehouses.
