Creating product records from an import file

Use PI Administrator Build from Product Files to create a file from current Product entity records or a previous import file. The records that are created can then be modified and updated like any other import file.

  1. Select Product Import > Administrator > PIA Reports > Build From Product Files.
  2. Click either New Stored or New One Time.
  3. Optionally, on the Ranges page, specify appropriate values to filter your report.
  4. Click Next.
  5. On the Options page, specify the required values. Several option values are required.
  6. Click Finish.
