Recovering a receiving journal

If you are receiving a purchase order or warehouse transfer and the updating process is interrupted because of a power outage or network disconnection, you must recover the open receiving journal and complete the processing. If the journal was previously closed, the recovery records are destroyed and the journal cannot be recovered.

  1. Sign in to Distribution SX.e. The receiving session reopens.
  2. A message indicates that the journal is being reopened. Click OK.
  3. Click Quick Receive and specify the document you were working on.
  4. Finish receiving the purchase order or warehouse transfer, and then click Final Update to close the journal.
