Inquiring on a nonstock product order

If you do not know the number of an order for a nonstock product, use these instructions to search for the order.

The vendor product is displayed on lines for warehouse products if these conditions are met:

  • The vendor product number was used for the nonstock on the order.
  • The vendor product number is specified on the product warehouse record.
  1. Select Sales > Inquiry > Order.
  2. Click Advanced Search.
  3. Specify this information in the Product section:
    • Select Product on order only in the Product Type field.
    • Select Non-Stock in the Line Type field.
    • Specify the nonstock product in the Product field.
  4. Optionally, specify other search criteria.

    If you specified a vendor product in the Product field, specify a warehouse. If a match is made between the vendor product and warehouse, this message is displayed: This Non-Stock Item exists as a vendor product for item xxx. Click Yes to perform a search for both the stock and the nonstock products.

  5. Click Search.
