Setting up WM cross reference by size type

Optionally, you can use WM Cross Reference by Size Type Setup to specify a product’s total quantity in stocking units that fit in a particular bin. This record is used by pre-receiving and receiving functions to direct the put-away process.

  1. Select Warehouse Manager > Setup > Cross Reference by Size Type.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify this information:
    Warehouse
    Specify the warehouse where the bin is located.
    Size Type
    Specify a size type. This value is validated against Size Type records that are set up in SA Table Code Value Setup.
    Product
    Specify the product that is stored in this bin.
    Maximum Quantity
    Specify the maximum quantity, in stocking units, that can be stored in this size type location. The stocking unit is displayed by this field.
  4. Click Save.
