Clearing your local cache

Your local cache is maintained during your user session. It is automatically cleared when you sign out. If data is changed when you are signed in, you must manually clear the cache to access the new data. If you do not clear your cache, the outdated data is retrieved from the cache.

To clear the cache, click More icon in the Application Menu bar, and then select Advanced > Clear Local Cache.

This cached data is cleared from your local browser:

  • Custom fields
  • Infor Document Management (IDM) images
  • Business Context messages
  • Values that you specify in lookup fields, or values are that are programmatically placed in lookup fields
    Note: An example of programmatically-placed value is in Sales Order Entry. When you specify a customer value, other values, such as Terms or Ship Via, are automatically display.
