Opening an existing journal

You cannot exit a function without the journal closing, whether closed automatically or manually. In the event of a power outage, a journal may remain open. The next time you access that function, access the open journal and continue working.

  1. Select the function.
  2. When the Open Journal view is displayed, click Existing.
  3. A view similar to SA Journal Setup is displayed with all open journals.
  4. Specify the operator initials in the Operator field.
  5. Click Search to view all open journals for that user.
  6. Open the appropriate journal.
