Product Warehouse Description Setup - Route field descriptions
Fields are presented in alphabetical order.
- Color
-
When you implemented Direct Route, you selected the color of the symbols you want to use on the maps that Direct Route generates for a delivery route. Specify the number associated with the default color of the symbol that identifies this equipment.
- Delivery Start Time
-
The time your delivery schedule is to begin, using the military format. Direct Route uses this to calculate estimated times the deliveries will be made.
- End Time
-
The time your delivery schedule is to finish, using the military format. Direct Route uses this to calculate the estimated times for the deliveries to be made. The time you specify must be greater than the start time.
- Equipment Code
-
Defined during your Direct Route implementation. It consists of a string of comma-separated values that guides activity in the Direct Route software. Once you define these codes, keep a list of them for future reference because they are not validated and there is no lookup from this field.
- Fixed Location
-
Identify this record to be at a fixed position by selecting this option. Clear the option and Direct Route recalculates the location of this entity on each transaction.
- Fixed Time
-
The approximate time it takes to unload the goods at the customer’s site. Direct Route uses this to calculate the estimated delivery times for the day. If you specify a value in the Unload Rate field, it is used instead of this field.
- Latitude
-
Direct Route calculates the value in this field, based on the address. Since Direct Route calculates this value, overriding it is not recommended. If you do override the value in this field, your entry must be between 90 and –90; Direct Route validates this.
- Longitude
-
Direct Route calculates the value in this field based on the address. Because Direct Route calculates this value, overriding it is not recommended. If you do override the value in this field, your entry must be between 180 and –180; Direct Route validates this.
- Size
-
When you implemented Direct Route, you selected the size of the symbols you want to use on the maps that Direct Route generates for a delivery route. Specify the number associated with the default size of the symbols that identify this equipment.
- Symbol
-
When you implemented Direct Route, you defined the symbols you want to use on the maps that Direct Route generates for a delivery route. Specify the number associated with the default symbol that identifies this equipment.

The cube or weight that you can unload at a customer’s site. Direct Route uses this to calculate the estimated delivery times for the day. If you specify a value in the Fixed Time field, it is used instead of this field.
