You must complete these setups for Canadian companies that are using cash accounting. If you do not complete all the required setups, suspense postings may occur.

SA Company Setup

  • Country = Canada
  • Tax Method = Goods & Services Tax
  • Tax Interface = System Rates
  • GST Account = Specify GL account
  • PST Account = Specify GL account

SA Goods and Services Taxes Setup

  • GL Account # = Specify GL Account
  • AR Cash Basis = Specify GL Account

SA Local Taxes Setup

  • GST GL Account = Specify GL Account
