GL Account Setup field descriptions
Use the Search feature to search for existing accounts. Search results are displayed in theAccounts grid.

To create a new GL account, click

- Account #

The number of the GL account.
- Division
- If the Account # listed in the grid is associated with a Division, that Division description is displayed. The Division is set up in SA Table Code Value Setup-Division-Description. This field honors division security. Operators can only view account information in the divisions they have security for.
- Division Group
- If the Account # listed in the grid is associated with a Division Group, that Division Group description is displayed. The Division Group is set up in SA Table Code Value Setup-Division Group-Description. This field honors division security. Operators can only view account information in the divisions they have security for.
- Division Group Code
- If the Account # listed in the grid is associated with a Division Group, you can show the related Division Group Code. Use Personalization to add this field to the grid. The Division Group Code is set up in SA Table Code Value Setup-Division Group-Group. This field honors division security. Operators can only view account information in the divisions they have security for.
- Notes

An asterisk is displayed in this column if a note exists for an account. An exclamation mark is displayed if the note is required. Notes are created or maintained for GL accounts in the Notes context application.
- Lookup Name

This is the lookup name defined for the account.
- Title

This is the title defined for the account.
