Entering a stock order

Use these instructions to enter a Stock Order (SO) for a customer.

  1. Select Sales > Entry > Order.
  2. Select Stock Order in the Order Type field.
  3. Complete the remaining fields on the page, and then click Next.
  4. Add line items.
  5. Click Taxes and Totals.
  6. Verify or complete the tax information.
  7. Apply any discounts or addons. Click Recalculate to update the order total.
  8. Optionally, click Freight Rate Shop to view shipping options.
  9. Click Collect Payment.
  10. Complete the payment information.
  11. If you are accepting a cash, check, or credit card payment, verify the journal settings and then click OK.
  12. Click Save to complete the order.
