Managing products with exceptional usage
Products that experience exception usage, low usage, or are stocked out for more than 15 days can be set up so they are not frozen by the Product Administration Month End Processing Report, or can be frozen until a buyer reviews them and adjusts ordering controls. If products that experience exceptional usage are your lower-ranked products, ranked as C or lower, you can set up options in Product Replenishment Setup to adjust the usage and not freeze them. This frees up the buyers' time for reviewing the higher-ranked products.
