Remove Inactivated Pricing Records?
Select Yes to delete all inactive PD Pricing Setup-Customer Pricing and Customer Rebate records. The status of the record must be Inactive. You may have manually set the status to Inactive or it may be automatically set through this function.
Remove Records up to Ending Date

Inactivate Expired Pricing Records?
Select Yes to inactivate Customer Pricing/Rebate records that have expired. A record is considered expired if the ending date on the record is less than or equal to the ending date specified for the Remove Records Up to Ending Date option.
Print List of Affected Records?
Select Yes to print the affected PD Pricing Setup records.
L)ast Used Dt S)tart Dt B)oth or N)one
This option controls what date is used to determine whether a pricing record is inactive. If you select Last, Start, or Both, you must also specify a date in the Last Used/Start Date field.
  • Select Last to review pricing records based on the Last Used Date. This is the date the pricing record was last viewed or used, whether in an inquiry or entry function.
  • Select Start to review pricing records based on the Start Date defined in PD Pricing Setup when the records were created.
  • Select Both to review records based on the Last Used Date. If this field is blank in PD Pricing Setup, and the Expired Date field is also blank, records are selected based on the Start Date.
  • Select None to run the report regardless of Start Date or Last Used Date. It reviews records with an ending date that is less than or equal to the date specified in the Remove Records up to Ending Date field.
Last Used/Start Date
If you selected Last Used Dt, Start Dt, or Both for the previous option, you must specify a date by which to review pricing records. The default is today’s date minus one year. If you selected Last, the system selects pricing records with a Last Used Date on or before the date specified in this field. If you selected Start, it selects pricing records with a Start Date on or before the date specified.
If Last Used Dt or Both is selected and the Last Used Date is blank, no records are retrieved based on Last Used Date. If you select Start Date or Both, the report checks the Start Date to find records. If it is looking at Start Date records, the records checks for a blank Last Used Date and blank Expire Date on the records.
R)emove, I)nactivate, or N)either
This option allows you to inactivate records or remove them based on the date specified in the Last Used/Start Date field.
To run this report in non-update mode where no record changes are made, specify these option settings:
  • Remove Inactivated Pricing Records: select No
  • Inactivate Expired Pricing Records: select No
  • Print List of Affected Records: select No
  • L)ast Used Dt, S)tart Dt, B)oth, or N)one: Select Last, Start, or Both
  • R)emove, I)nactivate, or N)either: select Neither
The Status column in the report output indicates why the pricing record was removed or inactivated, based on the Expired Date (End Date), Last Used Date, or Start Date. These dates are shown on the report for qualifying pricing records if they are found on the record.
