Advance Ship Notice

Use this page to view the Advance Ship Notice (ASN) details such as the shipper number, ASN number, ASN published date and time. The line item and container related information is also displayed.

Review this information in the Header Information section:

Ship From
The location from where the parts are shipped.
Ship To
The location to which the parts are shipped.
Shipper No.
The code of the shipper.
Date/Time
The date and time when the shipper is created.
ASN No.
The ASN number related to the shipment.
Date/Time
The date and time when the ASN is generated.
Supplier Attached Files
The files included with the ASN.
Supplier ID
The code of the supplier.
Facility ID
The code of the facility.
Dest ID
The code of the Ship To.
Freight
The mode of payment for the shipping cost. Possible values:
  • Collect
  • Prepaid
  • Prepaid Invoice
Route Code
The code of the route map for the shipment. This value is defaulted from the Route Details page, as defined by the customer.
Pro Number
The carrier tracking number used to track the shipment.
AETC No.
The AETC code that indicates the excess transport cost related to the shipment.
Note:  If the AETC functionality is implemented, this field cannot be modified.
SCAC
The code of the carrier that transports the shipment.
Transportation Method
The mode of conveyance used for transporting the shipment.
Vehicle Number
The railcar number, trailer number or air freight number.
Dock
The code of the dock to which the shipment is sent.
Bill of lading number
The code to identify the shipment. This code is issued by the carrier that transports the shipment.

Review this information in the Line Items section:

Quantity Shipped
The quantity of the part shipped.
Customer Part No.
The customer defined code of the part.
PO No.
The purchase order (PO) number associated with the requirement.
Eng. Level
The customer defined code that indicates the required version of the part.
Model Year
The code of the part that indicates the year when the part is used.
Lot No.
The code for the group of parts that are manufactured at the same time using the same process.
Additional Information
The additional information related to the line item.

Review this information in the Container Totals section:

Type
The type of container used for the shipment.
Master or Mix Containers Qty
The number of Master containers or the Mixed containers used for the shipment.
Detail Containers Qty
The number of detail containers used for the shipment.
Loose Containers Qty
The number of loose containers used for the shipment.
Additional Packaging Qty.
The number of additional containers used for the shipment.
Lot No.
The lot number associated with the containers.
