Flex fields
Flex fields are used to add data sets to the application. Creating a flex field allows additional data to be included in inbound and outbound API files and to display within the application.
Customers and suppliers can set up flex fields by document type. Flex-fields have three main components.
- The code is used to reference the field in inbound and outbound API files.
- Labels can be entered for each application-supported language.
- The value is the content of the field.
Flex fields can be either optional or mandatory. All mandatory flex fields must be included in the inbound APIs to which they belong.
