Synchronizing users and groups

It may be necessary to synchronize user and group information in User Manager and in the application's repository.

Information about users and groups are stored in User Manager, and also in the application's repository. As amendments are made in User Manager, they are automatically replicated in the application repository.

There may be situations, however, where this automatic procedure fails and the information becomes unsynchronized. The system administrator is notified if this happens and they can then manually run the synchronize procedure.

From the menu select Settings > SunSystems > Synchronize. Click Start on the dialog to start the replication process.

The current synchronization status is displayed.
