Adding functions to the menu

Note: The user group for which you are creating or editing the menu must have been granted permission to access the functions for which you want to create a function shortcut.
  1. Access User Group Menu Designer (UGM).
  2. Select the menu item group to which you want to add the function shortcut.
  3. Select the required function from the Available Functions pane and click the Add button. Any added menu items are displayed under the default categories within the current group in the menu pane.
  4. Ensure the required properties are set for the new function shortcut. The category and display icon can be amended, if required.

Users who are members of the user group that has been changed and are currently logged in must restart SunSystems for changes made in User Group Menu Designer (UGM) to take effect.
