Using the Map operation

Use the Map operation to select one or more source data elements to map to a single target data element.

  1. Select a source data element in the TML mapping.
  2. Click Operation and select Map.
  3. Click the browse button in the source data element.
    The Select Map Source dialog opens, displaying the data hierarchy of the source format. Elements appear in the table as you select them.
  4. Select one or more elements by clicking the right arrow.
  5. Optionally, change the element order by clicking the up and down arrows.
  6. Optionally, select an element in the table and click the delete button to remove it from the table.
  7. Click OK to close the dialog.
