Data transformations

During the transfer of data, rules are executed by Transfer Desk that transform data before it is transferred. For example, a rule may add two fields together and place the result in a new field.

Transformations also provide the means by which file layouts are mapped, for example, from external data to SSML format. Transformations are attached to profiles.
