When you finish creating or amending your transformations, you can
validate them as follows:
From the Edit menu select Validate a Transformation or click Validate a Transformation on the toolbar.
Transformation Designer checks the script for valid XML
formatting.
If any errors exist, a message is displayed at the bottom of the
Transformation Designer window.
Correct any errors found and select Validate a Transformation again.
When your script is valid, the message Validation succeeded is displayed at the bottom of the
Transformation Designer window.
From the File menu select
Save Transformation, or click Save a Transformation on the toolbar.
