Editing code in text view

As you specify the details for data format, you can view and amend the schema definition source code.

To view the source code as text:

1. Open or create a data format.
2. From the View menu select Change view, or click Change a Format View on the toolbar to toggle between Text View and TML Details view.

To edit the source code:

1. Change the view to text view.
2. Edit the source code as required, ensuring that the code conforms to the XML standards.
   Note: Once you make changes in text view you cannot return to TML Details view.
3. From the File menu select Save Format or click Save a Format on the toolbar.
