Transfer Profile Designer - summarizing data - ledger only

When transferring ledger data, Transfer Desk can automatically summarize data according to criteria specified on the associated profile. This process enables multiple transactions to be compressed into one, totalling any financial values.

Summarizing data can be set up on the transfer profile when ledger data is specified as the source or target data. Where summarization is specified, the handling of how debit or credit values are to be totaled can be defined as:

• Sum debits and credits as two separate values
• Net total the debits and credits
• Summarize and total debits only, detail credits
• Summarize and total credits only, detail debits.
