Using session tabs

In the Windows client, you can open multiple SunSystems sessions simultaneously by clicking the blank tab. This opens another menu panel in a new session from which you can launch another function. Alternatively, select View > New Tab, right-click an existing session tab and select New Tab, or press Ctrl + N.

Note: You can change the Maximum Sessions setting in Tools > Options in the Windows client. The maximum value you can assign is nine.

In the Web client, you can open multiple sessions using the Sessions Navigation drop-down button at the top left of the frame, as described in Active Sessions.

Restoring Sessions

For core SunSystems functions, session restore is available. That is, if you close the web browser without closing down one or all of the open sessions, the next time you log in you are presented with a list of sessions to choose from and restore. Sessions that cannot be restored are shown on the drop-down list with a ~ tilde character.

Note: You can also double-click on a session in the drop-down list in order to restore it.

For other browser-based SunSystems applications, such as Security Console this session restore function is not available.
