Setting up email configuration

SunSystems Reporting Services (SRS) enables you to send reports by email as attachments.

You must first ensure the report has Email Delivery enabled in Report Designer.

Once this has been set, in Report Manager, from the Tools menu, select Email Configuration. Enter the server, port and sender details, which are mandatory fields. Select the Enable SSL property if SSL is used to access the specified SMTP mail server.

You can test the email settings to ensure the reports are emailed correctly. To test the email settings, select the Test button and enter the email address of where the Test email is to be sent. Finally, click Send.
