Recovering Failed Ledger Postings

  1. On the Control Desks In-Tray select the transaction to be amended.
  2. In the Batch Process field, select Recover Failed Postings and click OK.
  3. If the original transaction failed to create the ledger details, the system attempts to create the ledger details first, then attempts to post them to the ledger. If the ledger details have been generated already based on the original transactions, the system attempts to post the ledger details to the ledger. If all the selected transactions post, a message is displayed informing you that the batch process has been completed successfully. If one or more transactions fail, a relevant error message is displayed
