The Sales Return Note form - Actions
- To carry out one of the following actions for the whole of the sales return note, select it from the Action menu within the sales return note form.

Specify this information:
- New Order
- Clears the current order from the screen ready for a new order to be entered.
- Schedule Order
- This option is not relevant to sales return notes.
- Delete All

Deletes all lines on the current sales return note. A warning message is displayed so you can confirm this action before it is carried out.
You cannot delete the whole of the order or invoice where an inventory update has been made against one or more of the lines. In this case you need to select the lines individually.
When a ledger posting has been made against one or more of the lines the system deletes all the lines on the SRN and reverses previous ledger postings.
- Hold and Release All
- Hold prevents further processing from being carried out until the Release option is selected. If you are using an existing invoice or order, the lines are automatically placed on Hold.
- Acknowledge All
- Confirms all lines on the sales return note and changes the details in the Confirmation Date, Confirmation Period and Confirmed By fields.
- Generate Credit Lines
- Advanced Generate
- This option provides you with additional selection functionality, enabling you to select whole orders, multiple orders or multiple lines. When you select this option the Control Desk Filter Selection form is displayed.
- Generate Invoice
- This option is not relevant to sales return notes.
- Embed Std Para
- This option displays the Standard Text Language Variants form. This form enables you to attach a paragraph to the document to be printed.
- If you are using an existing order or invoice any standard text is copied onto the return note.
- Show Presets
- This option displays available presets for the line.
- Manual Allocations
- This option is not relevant to sales return notes.
- Control Values
- This option displays control values as defined in the sales type.
- Save your changes.
