Credit check inquiries and credit limit checking
The Credit Check Inquiry form contains the action that has been taken for the order line as the result of the failure. This is defined in the Customers, Sales Type or Sales Business Setup. For example, Warn and Block.
The following fields show the details on the sales order line:
- Customer Code
- Actual Account
- Sales Order Transaction Ref
- Sales Order Line Number

In Credit Limit Checking:
- If Credit Limit Checking has not been applied, this section is marked Not Applicable.
- If Credit Limit Checking has passed, this section is marked Pass.
- If Credit Limit Checking has failed, this section is marked Fail and this information is shown:
- Credit Limit Excess
- The amount by which the sales order line has exceeded the credit limit.
The calculation that has been carried out is also detailed in this section as follows:
- Credit Limit + Account Balance - Order Balance + Override -Credit Limit Value = Available Credit.

In Order Line Value, specify this information:
- Base Currency
- Transaction Currency
- Reporting Currency
- Using Value Label
- OIC Excess
- The amount by which the sales order line has exceeded the overdue invoice limit.
- If Overdue Invoice Checking has not been applied, this section is marked Not Applicable.
- If Overdue Invoice Checking has passed, this section is marked Pass.
- If Overdue Invoice Checking has failed, this section is marked Fail and this information is shown:
- Overdue Invoice Limit
- The amount of overdue invoices allowed for this customer as defined in Customers (CUS).
- Overdue Invoice Amount
- The amount of overdue invoices currently held for this customer.
- Override Overdue Inv Limit Val
- The tolerance applied to Overdue Invoice Checking as defined for the Operator Group. This amount is added to the customer's overdue invoice limit.
- Available Overdue Amount
- Calculated as follows:
- Overdue Invoice Limit - Overdue Invoice Amount + Override Overdue Invoice Limit Value.
- Click Continue to accept this credit failure and save the data. Click Cancel to cancel processing and return to the sales order line without saving the data.
